Carbocryl Methacrylate injection system for sealing small water inflows
Carbocryl - convenient in use, kind to the environment
Carbocryl is a 2 component methacrylate system used for sealing small water inflows and can be applied by several injection methods. The product has a watery consistency and is injected into the structure. It sets as a gel in any pores and fissures which may be present. The treated area then has the strength and waterproofing needed. Carbocryl is solvent-free, giving an environmentally safe solution to these preparations and repair problems
Properties
· Low watery viscosity
· Individual processing and reaction time
· No organic solvents
· Swells in contact with water
Carbocryl is well suited to the following applications:
· Injection barrier for sealing basements against water seepage and ingress
· Horizontal barrier against rising humidity in brickwork
· Injection of fissures against oppressive or non oppressive water
· Pressure sealing of injection hoses
· Repair of defective tunnel sealing membranes
· Repair of expansion joints with Carbocryl Wv Plus
Carbocryl is available as
· Carbocryl Wv - very fast hydrogel with high elasticity, setting time less than 20 sec. · Carbocryl Hv - low viscosity hydrogel with high stability · Carbocryl Wv Plus / Hv Plus - acrylic gel with reduced shrinkage in dry environments
Carbocryl is a two component sysytem. They are applied at a volume ratio
of 1:1. The pneumatic dual component WIWA gel pump can be supplied.
Carbocryl offers the following benefits:
· Exceptionally good penetration into brickwork and fine sand
· Carbocryl swells slightly and prevents further ingress of water
· Environmentally friendly with a high chemical resistance
· Easy to use
