Carbopur - 2 C Polyurethane Resins for Sealing

CarboPur is a dual-component injection resin for permanent sealing and consolidation in water-bearing strata. This product was developed for application in mining, tunnelling, civil engineering and reconstruction of buildings. CarboPur offers a large range of application due to the variety of products. The following products are part of the CarboPur injection system:

The CarboPur injection resins consist of components A and B. The product starts to react by thoroughly mixing components A and B in the ratio 1:1.

Without contact to water CarboPur reacts to form a high-strength pore free resin body. In contact with water the resin foams up.

Application of Carbopur

CarboCrackSeal H is a low viscosity dual component polyurethane resin used for extended sealing of fissures and sealed filling of cavities in concrete structures, natural stone, building construction, canals, tunnelling and bridge work. In case of water intrusions which can not initially be stopped with CarboCrackSeal H, a temporary pre-injection with the immediately foaming injection resin CarboStop U is needed to stop water flow.

CarboCrackSeal H and CarboStop U are a proven system according to German ZTV-ING and registered in the German BASt-list. CarboCrackSeal H is solvent-free and reacts even with humidity to form an elasticised resin. CarboStop U is also solvent-free and foams up strongly in contact with water and reacts to form a closed cell foam. Without counter pressure, e.g outside cracks, a foaming factor of up to 30 to 50 times is possible.
