In situ concrete surround to precast concrete manholes may be required for structural reasons such as sloping or unstable ground and is essential for side entry manholes. Meshform sections to the required radius can be preformed at our factory in Warrington. These panels together with vertical steel spacers can be shipped directly to site where the spacers are wired to the Meshform panels to give the required thickness of concrete surround. The panels are then offered up to the concrete manhole rings and wired together in position prior to back filling and subsequent concrete pour.
